Chris

Chris came into the RPM program an "off gait" and needed x-rays to assess the injuries. He spent time with his foster Dad, Jose in Houston while we determined what was needed for his leg/hips. Chris had hip dysplasia that was causing him pain, as well as, an old leg injury on his right knee. Thankfully, LMJF was happy to sponsor his FHO surgery so he could get the necessary medical care he needed to live out a long and happy life up north in Colorado!

Esteban

Esteban was one of the many injured strays in Houston. Luckily, she ended up at the city shelter where she could quickly be seen by the vet. Her x-rays showed she had a fractured left tibia. She had her leg splinted and was on strict crate rest for 5 weeks with her amazing foster mom, Julie! Her 2nd set of x-rays showed that her leg injury was properly healed! Esteban was cleared to travel for her leg injury by the vet, and she was transported to one of our rescue partners. She was transported to Douglas County Canine Rescue where she was quickly adopted after her arrival to Colorado!

Henry

Henry was on the shelter euthanasia list for being injured. After x-rays it showed Henry suffered from a broken pelvis and shattered right knee. Thankfully after crate rest and two loving foster homes, he healed up quick and was able to be transported to Colorado! He may have a limp and possibly a shorter leg during his life, but he gets to keep all 4 legs at this time! Just 3 days after his Colorado arrival, he was adopted to a loving family!

Ursa

Ursa is a sweet senior dog who needed a second chance. Back in June, she was scheduled to be euthanized due to her condition. The Lance McCullers Jr Foundation stepped in to help fund treatments to save her life! Ursa has now found her fur-ever home up in Canada.

Buttercup

Buttercup is a sweet mama dog who arrived nursing a litter of six puppies! They were all found in an abandoned property and left with no access to food or water. Buttercup was in foster care in Houston until she was transported to one of our Colorado rescue partners, Circle 2 Rescue. Now that Buttercup is at her rescue up north, she will wean her babies, begin her heartworm treatment, and will be adopted! Happy life, sweet Buttercup!

Olson

Olson was only 14 weeks old and on the euthanasia list at BARC because of his severe sarcops and psychological condition. ⁣His skin was dry, cracked, and bloody with little to no fur at all. X-rays showed that his hips were out of place, and he needed surgery. LMJF sponsored the FHO surgery for Olson, and he has made a full recovery! ⁣Olson was tagged by Rescued Pets Movement and transported to 2 Blondes All Breed Rescue in Colorado. He is now happily adopted and is living the life in the mountains of Colorado! ⁣

Sully is the reason we do what we do! He made the climb to recovery look good! We teamed up with our friends @urgentpetstx to support Sully’s road to recovery.

Bosco

Bosco is a SWEET and LOVING lab mix boy that found himself in danger at a local shelter for being heartworm positive, injured, and surrendered by his owner. Poor guy was not bearing weight on his left rear leg. He didn't stand much of a chance at getting out of the shelter "The good way". The Lance McCullers Jr. Foundation was able to sponsor Bosco's heartworm treatment to get his heart healthy again!

KC

Meet KC! He is headed to his fur-ever home in Michigan thanks to an LMJF funded transport! When he was found, he was emaciated, had scabs, and was missing a portion of his tail. Thanks to a kindhearted Houstonian who found him, he was rescued and will be given a second chance! Thank you to @houstonpetset and all of our partners across the country who help us find dogs like KC a loving home!

Hopper

Meet Hopper! Hopper was rescued by @corridor_rescue after suffering severe neglect. He had a large growth on his right rear foot, and both of his ears had been cut off and heavily infected with 7 different types of bacteria. We are unsure if Hooper can hear due to the conditions of his ears. Hopper is still undergoing rehabilitation and receiving unconditional love from his foster. Even with all the pain he has endured, he welcomes attention and love.

Sunshine

Meet Sunshine! Though that's not what her life has been like thus far. Sunshine is a 3 years young, gorgeous bulldog who was fighting for her life! Sunshine was used as a breeder and was found to have a severe vaginal prolapse that had been previously treated with no success. After @rescuedpetsmovement pulled her from the shelter, she was rushed to emergency surgery. We are happy to say Sunshine is doing great, and her future is looking bright!

Kona

Kona was confiscated with 5 other dogs. These six dogs were all found together tied up on city property without food or water. All 6 dogs were even branded with the letter "D" on thier hips! The Lance McCullers Jr Foundation helped save Kona by sponsoring a triple FHO surgery (hip surgery) with @rescuedpetsmovement. Kona recovered beautifully from her triple FHO surgery and was adopted by a loving family!

Bunny.jpeg

Bunny

This sweet pup was hit and dragged by a car. @redcollarrescue could not turn their back on this poor pup, so they rushed her immediately to the ER. It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that Bunny has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Bunny was given the best care possible and most importantly experienced love until the end. A big thanks to all the vets, volunteers, and those who gave Bunny a chance.

Spirit

This sweet boy was dropped off in a box with catastrophic injuries! @redcollarrescue saved Spirit and we are happy to announce he is on the road to recovery!

Pete.jpeg

Pete

Meet Pete! Pete was horribly emaciated with a life-threatening skin infection, bleeding wounds all over his body, hookworms, anemia, conjunctivitis, and more. Pete smelled of motor oil when turned in, and it is suspected that his owner's practiced the barbaric act of using motor oil to supposedly cure mange, and almost killed Pete. Pete was saved by @redcollarrescue and is doing great on his long road to recovery!

Pheonix.jpeg

Phoenix

Meet Mr. Popcorn now known as Phoenix! His story is especially sad as he was saved from euthanasia back in May of 2019 and was returned back to the shelter in horrible condition.
